I do think subject selection and content aware fill are worth improvements in the editor. I don't have the 2021 version, but the 2020 version. To be honest though I use Photo Mechanic as my photo organizer and Capture One Pro as my raw editor of choice.įull disclosure here I only use PSE for minor touch ups and quick edits. Not as full of the bloat that PS CC is and does all that I need/want it to do. By the way, I never use Organizer.įor what it is PSE 2021 is a good little utility.

But I changed the OS of my iMac to Big Sur, so I couldn't use it anymore :-( I bought PSE 2021, it works fine, but I see no advantage when compared to PSE 11. So far I am pretty happy with the decision. I hate paying the yearly fee, but there were growing frustrations with Elements. I decided, then, to give up on Elements and have gone to Photoshop CC. I did a trial version of 2021 and it was not any better.maybe a bit worse. I had PSE 2019 and, as you say, performance on Organizer was abysmal. The new features as always are in the GUIDED tab, which I don't use. If you have a PSE version 15 or later, I don't think it's worth the change. Unfortunately, there was no improvement at all, Organizer is still very slow and crashing all the time. I had the PSE 15 and bought PSE 2021 mainly because I read on the Adobe site that Organizer had been upgraded with major speed improvements. All Macs with the M1 chip have Rosetta which allows Intel-based application, like Photoshop Elements 2021 to run on the M1 computers.

Anyone have any experience, good or bad, with Elements 2021? It got a number of awful reviews on Amazon so am wondering if I want to buy it (though I may not have any choice).
